Painting Rainbows {{Kid’s Corner Friday}}

IMG_1047

My kids LOVE painting!  When one of the super creative kindergarten teachers at our school had her students complete this project, I knew I had to try it with my own kiddos!

Start off by dividing your cardstock or thick paper into six different sections.  If you look closely, you can see the lines I made for each section.

Using a permanent marker, draw your lines across the page.

Now mark your sections by color and by level it according to age if necessary.  For my 3 year old, I put color words.  For my two year old I added colored dots.

They had such a fun time with this project (especially since they got to paint in their jammies) and it was SO easy to put together!  What fun paint projects have you and your kiddos completed?  I don’t know about your kids, but I’m pretty sure mine could entertain themselves for hours with some paint and a few pieces of paper!

This is just so great! I know what I'll be pulling out on the next rainy day. How fun would it be to make it in the shape of a rainbow for an added challenge for older children? Thanks for sharing! ~Jen @ www.icantstopcrafting.blogspot.com

What a fun and easy project! My kids are color blind so I'm not sure they would appreciate the full effect but it looks so cute! Thanks for sharing at The Creative Spark - you have been one busy girl!
